My wife has had a Kia Sedona since 2003, and it has been very dependable. I have had a Toyota Sequoia since 2006 and it has been expensive to drive and expensive to repair… So, when my Toyota dealer quoted me about $500 to fix my O2 Sensor, I decided it was time to cut my losses.
Tonight I traded her in for a brand new Kia Sorrento with a 10 year bumper-to-bumper warranty!
That’s great!! How did you get a 10-year bumper to bumper though? I got screwed!
Well, I paid to extend the standard 5-year bumper-to-bumper to a full 10 years.
Because my primary motivation for leaving Toyota, in the first place, is all the maintenance headaches I’ve had with them, I may have gone a little overboard on buying up extended warranty and service plans, but I would rather pay a little more and not have to think about my car anymore…
