Author: It is way too easy to overlook the obvious! When you get a tech support call, asking why their computer screen is blank, your first question should be “Is it plugged in?”
Here I am, following Glenn Slaven’s installation instructions to install his FriendFeed Comments plugin, and I can’t seem to make it work. I’ve been moving the template tag all around, thinking maybe it’s being made invisible by the rest of the template, which I haven’t wanted to spend the time to get familiar with.
Duh! It’s not going to pick up comments on blog posts being syndicated by FriendFeed, if I haven’t posted anything to my blog after I installed the plugin!
So, here’s a post. As soon as FriendFeed sees this post, I’ll go over there and post a comment and see what happens.
